Homophone Worksheets – Activity 1

These homophone worksheets are perfect for Year 3 students and meets ACARA outcome: ACELA1486 – Recognise and know how to write most high frequency words including some homophones.

Activity 1 includes 5 worksheets where students will look at various images and identify the correct homophone that matches the image. A great way for students to drawing on meaning and context to spell one- and two-syllable homophones, for example ‘break’ or ‘brake’ and ‘ate’ or ‘eight’.
