First Contacts. Includes 11 informational slides and 2 worksheets that help your students develop a greater understanding of Australian History and appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Plenty of beautiful images, factual information and 2 worksheets template ‘Writing Task- Journal Entries’ to complete that requires students to write from the perspective of an Aboriginal person during the arrival and settlement of the British and/or from the perspective of a British convict who has just arrived on Australian soil and put to work. Students can use the information provided from the informational slides to guide their writing.
