Description

Resources included in this download:

  1. A.M. or P.M. task requires students to read every day events and decide which time they occur. These events are then categorised placed into a table where children can draw a picture or write down the situation.
  2. Build Your Own Clock: students are given a template of a clock and must fill in the numbers in the correct spot and add the minute and second hands. This is a fun hands on way of children understanding how to read the time. This sheet can be laminated and children can change the time on their clocks and write down what their time is at different points of the day.
  3. Time Duration: students have a careful think about the events on the worksheet children must colour either S = seconds, M = minutes or H = hours depending how long the event lasts for (e.g. taking a shower happens for a few minutes so children would colour in the M)
  4. Telling the Time By the Hour requires students to analyse 6 different analog clocks and write down the time below. Then students can make up their own o’clock times and record those on 3 additional clocks.
  5. Telling the Time Half-Past follows the same concept as the task above, students analyse 6 different analog clocks and write down the time below. Then students can make up their own half-past times and record those on 3 additional clocks.
  6. Time Match task requires students to draw a line that connects either the analog time to the digital time. Both o’clock and half-past times will be tested on this worksheet.
  7. Telling the Time Puzzles in both Black and White AND Colour is a hands on task where students use pictures of analog clocks and digital times to match together and complete the puzzles. Includes both o’clock and half-past times.
  8. Times of the Day Crossword allows students to become familiar with the vocabulary and language associated with time (e.g. evening, midnight, sunrise, midday, dawn, dusk, early, lates and much more)
  9. What’s the Time Mr. Wolf? O’Clock Times is a fun task where students must look at the digital time and draw it correctly in the analog form. By doing this, they help Mr. Wolf to understand what the time is. When finished children can colour in the pictures or decorate their clocks.
  10. What’s the Time Mr. Wolf? Half-Past Times follows the same directions as the above task, students view the digital time and draw it correctly in analog form. By doing this, they help Mr. Wolf to understand what the time is.
