2. They read the sentence and decide what type of figurative language is being used (simile, metaphor or personification).

3. Students can record the task card # and the answer in their books.

4. Students swap cards with another student and complete the next task card.

5. Students complete as many tasks as they can in the time provided.

6. Answers can be checked as a whole class using the answer key provided.
