These homophone worksheets are perfect for Year 3 students and meets ACARA outcome: ACELA1486 – Recognise and know how to write most high frequency words including some homophones.
Activity 2 includes 5 worksheets where students will read sentences that include homophones. They must write the correct word in the blank space for each sentence. A great way for students to drawing on meaning and context to spell one- and two-syllable homophones, for example ‘break’ or ‘brake’ and ‘ate’ or ‘eight’.
